The refining plant

The Refining plant is able to process 200 tons per day of crude oil continuously and takes the form of several phases that involve degumming, decolorization and physical deacidification by stripping in direct steam current, generating a valuable by-product (fatty acids) that is simultaneously reused within the production cycle for the production of esterified oil.
The refining plant can produce about 200 tons per day of refined oils.
Our goal is not to subtract precious plant resources from human and animal nutrition. This is why we prefer to work from animal fats and vegetable oils that have reached the end of their cycle of use or are the result of collection and disposal processes, and in this we exploit the synergy with the associated plant in Latina, a company that has been active for decades in the collection and disposal of organic waste. The use of strictly no-food vegetables is also envisaged, therefore not usable for human or animal consumption.
The refined can be used in the most diverse ways, as a raw material from the cosmetics, pharmaceutical or food industries, in the production of electricity in new generation biomass-fueled power plants, or, after being subjected to the transesterification process, become biodiesel.
The refining plant is able to work in a continuous cycle: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
